About

Builder mindset, production habits.

I'm Siddhant Ghosh — a Full-Stack + DevOps engineer who likes shipping things that stay shipped.

My comfort zone is the messy intersection of backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and pragmatic automation: build the feature, build the pipeline, and make sure it survives real traffic.

Strength

Shipping reliable systems

Style

Simple, observable, scalable

How I Work

  • Start with the contract: requirements → API shape → edge cases → success criteria.
  • Design for failure: timeouts, retries, idempotency, rate limits, rollbacks.
  • Instrument early: logs, metrics, traces — if it breaks, it should confess quickly.
  • Automate the boring: CI/CD, infra as code, reproducible environments.
  • Ship iteratively: smallest useful slice first, then improve with real feedback.

Values

  • Ownership: if I touch it, I'm responsible for it in production.
  • Clarity: prefer simple designs that teammates can debug at 3 AM.
  • Reliability over hype: measurable wins beat fancy diagrams.
  • Security by default: least privilege, secrets hygiene, safe deployments.
  • Craft: clean code, readable infrastructure, and thoughtful UX.

Toolbox

Node.js / TypeScriptPythonAWS (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, IAM)TerraformDockerCI/CD (GitHub Actions)Postgres / RedisNginx

Outside work

I'm usually tinkering with hardware/IoT builds, automating real-world systems, or going down rabbit holes in sci-fi and systems design. ..Or I go on bike trips...
